JOB DESCRIPTION

Nilfisk is looking for passionate and innovative Software Engineers who wants to play an important role in changing an entire industry. As Software Engineer, you are responsible for participating in design, development and deployment of new global solutions and services.

 

Nilfisk works with Microsoft technology in a truly agile environment, and you will have the opportunity to grow significantly both personally and technically on this bold mission.

Your primary tasks and areas of responsibility:

 

  • Design, development (.NET), build, test and deployment of Cloud based (Azure) software solutions
  • Participate in the development process with your full stack technical expertise
  • Keep up to date on Cloud technology innovations
  • Follow best practices for development work including coding, testing, source control, build automation, continuous deployment and continuous delivery

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate is expected to have a relevant educational background such as a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering, but experience from a similar role is more important.

 

You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as Software Developer in .NET/C# with the ability to quickly adopt other languages and platforms when needed. Furthermore, you have expertise in web development, including React, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Web API, ASP.NET Core. You have solid knowledge of data structures and database technologies and have experience with security/access control, scalability, high availability, and con-currency patterns.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure PaaS, FaaS and SaaS
  • DevOps including automation and CI/CD
  • Scrum, DevOps and Agile development methodologies
