Do you wish to drive Karnov Group’s technology achievements, set the direction for the overall architecture and further strengthen the position as a true online partner for their customers? Do you want to collectively build the to-be architecture and spice up your role with advisory on technology strategies for legal tech startups?

 

Karnov Group is looking for an Enterprise Architect, who’s main function will be to establish a long-term architectural thinking in order to ensure platform availability, security and scalability. Furthermore, Karnov Group has a dedicated growth strategy which requires the platform to support this from a market and content structure approach. As Enterprise Architect you will work with the business system team and a highly agile software development division on open source technologies. Expect to work on both high managerial levels as well as with everyday tasks on a solution architecture level. We do not expect you to have staff responsibility in this role.

 

Your primary tasks and areas of responsibility:

 

  • Build strong relationships within the Tech Leadership team and senior management stakeholders across Karnov Group
  • Build and have acceptance of overall to-be architecture by end of 2019
  • Mature architectural thinking in the Tech division by aligning with other architect profiles and SW developers and ensure common ground on where we should be headed
  • Engage on the on-going Norstedts Juridik merger program and other project implementations, acting respectively as enterprise, solution, integration or data architect as needed
  • Strategize and inspire on the online future of Karnov Group for both the existing online platform, new opportunities and by engaging on our merger and acquisition activities

 

Expect travel in the Nordics on regular basis. Approx. 30-50 days/year.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate is expected to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field e.g. software engineering, but experience from a similar role is more important.

 

Professional qualification and experience:

 

  • Experience from working 3-5 years minimum as enterprise architect
  • Solid experience with software engineering, coding of web applications, solution architecture and the like
  • Experience with business systems e.g. SAP, Microsoft or Oracle
  • SaaS implementation experience
  • Cloud experience with one or more global providers
  • Experience from working in global companies
  • Experience working for a vendor or as a consultant is a plus
