Entrust Datacard have recently embarked on an exciting new chapter in their growth and have acquired the Danish software company SMS Passcode from CensorNet to strengthen their renowned multi-factor authentication product. By bringing together both powerhouses this strengthens their authentication segment through the consolidation and enhancement of mobile applications into a single, next generation app that allows users to authenticate in a friction-less manner. The development of this ‘nextGen mobile’ app will service users globally across different authentication platforms, including SMS Passcode and the new award winning IntelliTrust. The app will offer users new, versatile and unique ways to perform user authentication – including the usage of patented technology. This new app will become the foundation for more services, like password reset and self-service.


Entrust Datacard are looking for ambitious and talented App Developers that will become a part of their agile ‘mobile team’. The team consists of 11 colleagues situated globally in Denmark, Canada and India.


Your primary tasks and areas of responsibility:


  • Implement functionality in the ‘nextGen mobile’ app and related cloud services
  • Ensure new features have automated system tests to promote rapid and stable development
  • Work with UI team members to build positive and smooth end user experiences
  • Collaborate with other product teams regarding integrations of the app
  • Collaborate with product development, product management, quality assurance, and security and Ops teams.
  • Assist in the estimation of work for the engineering group by defining task breakdown and effort
  • Swiftly investigate and resolve problems reported by peers and customers
  • Stay updated with latest technologies



The ideal candidate has a higher technical education, for example Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent and 2+ years’ experience with app development. Furthermore, the candidate has a passion for app development and a structured and positive work approach with demonstrated technical and analytical skills.


Preferred qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in JavaScript or JavaScript frameworks ex. React.js
  • Experience in Cloud Computing – AWS or Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of infrastructure tools including Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, Git
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, and tools
  • iOS native development
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Linux and macOS.
