Would you like to be executing a strategic shift towards a cloud-based offering of LogPoint’s next-gen platform?


LogPoint is experiencing rapid growth globally and is investing massively in development of their modern Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform. LogPoint’s innovative and disruptive approach is challenging the market for SIEM and they are successful all over Europe and have just entered into to the US market.


As LogPoint’s Vice President of Engineering, you’ll lead their multi-disciplinary engineering team, from on-prem to cloud systems, including all their customer-facing products as well as the internal tools essential to operating their rapidly growing business. Reporting to the CEO you’ll be building and managing teams, developing best practices, measuring velocity, and shipping high-quality code.


A successful VP of Engineering will have a strong technical and product background within Big Data, Cloud and scalable platforms, a demonstrated track record of building and launching successful cloud based services. You will need to be an experienced and professional leader with a knack for developing teams, and the business acumen to lead the engineering team in the execution of LogPoint’s strategic objectives.


Your primary tasks and areas of responsibility:


  • Inspire and lead the engineering team, including software, and quality engineers.
  • Establish processes and standards that allow the engineering department to focus and execute at the highest levels.
  • Provide technical leadership for product and business strategy
  • Work with their internal recruiting team to build a world-class engineering organization
  • Provide program management to ensure efficient and predictable releases that Logpoint’s customers love
  • Foster a culture of strong engineering design and code quality



The ideal candidate is expected to have a technical education at BA or MA level, but experience from a similar role is more important.


  • What you’ll need:
  • 7+ years software engineering experience
  • 7+ years progressively more experience managing engineering teams
  • 2+ years exposure to software engineering is ideal
  • Experience managing managers
  • Be able to embody and instill Logpoint values on their team which include: open communication, good judgement, collaboration, transparency, creative intelligence, work ethic, integrity, confidence and accountability
  • Strong skills in problem solving challenging functional and technical issues
  • Experience in managing multiple development processes(i.e. Kanban, Scrum)
  • Experience with cloud systems
  • Previously hands-on experience with technologies like Java, Phyton, Hadoop, and Linux
  • Big Data experience is a must
