JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to manage the delivery of technology solutions for an innovative and successful company? NREP is a vertically integrated real estate product innovator, developer, investor and operator, that seeks to make real estate better. NREP offices are in the capital cities of the Nordics and Luxembourg.

 

The IT Manager will manage external technology providers to deliver technology solutions to NREP’s 150 internal users, NREP’s service providers using NREP technology, as well as technology installations in some of its EUR 4bn property portfolio and operating businesses.

 

The IT Manager’s goals will be to enhance the use and delivery of technology by delivering a broader range of the Office 365 toolset, management of external technology providers, listening to user problems and determining technology solutions (e.g. software, hardware, automation, IoT et. al.) alongside maintaining the integrity and security of the technology environment.

 

As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for effecting the following tasks (non-exhaustive):

 

  • Governance
    • Maintaining NREP IT Policies and procedures and their alignment with agreements with service providers
    • Compilation and delivery of a Technology Business Plan aligned with business priorities
    • Technology KPI / KRI monitoring and reporting

 

  • IT Outsourcing
    • Monitoring the performance of the NREP Technology environment / Service Providers and ensuring the timely remediation of issues by service providers
    • Prioritizing and project management of IT projects and initiatives with service providers

 

  • IT Security
    • Working with service providers to maintain a robust and secure IT environment through the management of access rights, cyber security et. al.
    • Ensuring that the provisions of the Global Data Protection Regulation is respected – alongside the Data Protection Officer

 

  • User Experience
    • Facilitating a positive NREP Technology user experience through the right technology, service providers, communication, training and development et. al.

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate is expected to have a technical education at BA or MA level, but experience from a similar role is more important. Furthermore, the candidate is expected to have the adaptability to run an IT environment with various business needs such as real estate asset management (consulting/regulated) and operating companies such as student housing / serviced living and have an innovative and solution-oriented mindset whilst maintaining a secure and integrated IT environment.

 

Preferred qualifications:

 

  • Experience in working with outsourced Technology providers
  • Experience with Office 365 toolset
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 toolset / design and management of data-warehouses
